The Charlatan:
the seducer, deceiver, and manipulator of men, women, and children.

by
Dean Gotcher

"... the hatred against patriarchal suppression—a 'barrier to incest,' ... the desire (for the sons) to return to the motherculminates in the rebellion of the exiled sons, the collective killing and devouring of the father, and the establishment of the brother clan," (Herbart Marcuse explaining Freud's historiography in his book, Eros and Civilization: a psychological inquiry into Freud)

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16

"Building relationship on self interest" is common-ism, i.e., what we all have in common, in that we all (according to our carnal nature) tend to gravitate to those who agree with, support, and/or stimulate our "self interest," thus 'justifying' (affirming) our (and their) desire for the carnal pleasure ("lust") of the 'moment' (dopamine emancipation), which the world stimulates, thereby 'justifying' (in our and their thoughts and actions) our (and their) dissatisfaction with, resentment or hatred toward the father's/Father's authority, which gets in the way. If pleasure, i.e., "the lust of the flesh" ("sensuous needs"), "the lust of the eyes" ("sense perception"), and "the pride of life," i.e., "affirmation," i.e., consensus ("sense experience") becomes the 'drive' of life, then the augmentation of pleasure becomes its 'purpose,' 'justifying' the negation of all that gets in the way, including (especially) the father's/Father's authority, I/.e., that which restrains.. (Karl Marx, MEGA I/3) By men making their heart, i.e., their love of pleasure the standard for "good," they, by default, 'justify' their hate of restraint, i.e., their hate of the father's/Father's authority, which naturally follows, resulting in their "esteeming" of "self" blinding them to the deceitfulness and wickedness of their heart.

"The heart is deceitful above all things [thinking pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the Father's will, i.e., having to set aside pleasure, i.e., having to humble, deny, die to "self" in order to do God the Father's will, i.e., in order to do right and not wrong according the Father's commands, rules, facts, and truth], and desperately wicked [hating God the Father and His authority which "gets in the way," i.e. which prevents, i.e., inhibits or blocks you from enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment'—which the world stimulates]: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 Those of dialectic 'reasoning,' as a child of disobedience ('justifying' their "self") can not see their hatred toward God the Father as being evil because their love of "self," i.e., their love of pleasure—which the world stimulates—is "in the way," blinding them to the truth, i.e., to the deceitfulness and wickedness of their heart and their need of a savior.
"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." Luke 16:15

For example: through dialogue ("How do you feel?" "What do you think?") the charlatan is able to 'discovers' the farmer daughter's dissatisfaction with her father's authority, i.e., her resentment toward her father's restraints—wanting to control her own life, i.e., "do her own thing" instead. By finding her "self interest," i.e., her desire for the carnal pleasures of the 'moment,' which the world stimulates and her dissatisfaction, resentment, hatred toward her father's authority, i.e., the father's control over her, he is not only able to seduce her (gain her trust in him, since he has the same interest as she, i.e., love of pleasure and hate of restraint), he is able to deceive her as well (with her thinking that he has her best interest in mind when it is his own he has in mind), gaining control over her life for his own "self interest" instead. Taking her away, out from under her father's control (and protection), taking her "under his wing" he is able to use her as "natural resource" aka "human resource," i.e., he is able to "own" her (control her) for his own carnal pleasure and gain, doing something the father would never do—use and abuse her for his carnal pleasure then cast her aside or sell her off to others (for a profit) when he losses interest in her or she becomes a burden, or even do worse. Having "the love of the world" in him, i.e., love of pleasure and hate of restraint he can not have "the love of the Father," who, while not loving her bad behavior, i.e., her doing wrong or disobeying, loves her—taking care of her and protecting her (which includes not only blessing and rewarding her when she does right but restraining, reproving, correcting, chastening her when she does wrong, so that she will do right and not be hurt—showing mercy to her and forgiving her when she, putting her faith in him and repenting, seeks to do right and not wrong) for her own good (something the charlatan can not do since "self interest," i.e., "love of the self and the world," i.e., love of pleasure and hate of restraint is his God, i.e., directs his steps).

"If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2: 15

All psychologist, i.e., psychotherapists, i.e., facilitators of 'change,' i.e., "human resource" personal, i.e., Transformational Marxists, gaining peoples trust, i.e., "building relationship upon common self interest," i.e., 'justifying' (affirming) their desire for the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates and their dissatisfaction, resentment, hatred toward the father's/Father's authority which gets in the way, are charlatans, pimps, and pedophiles, seducing, deceiving, and manipulating men, women, and children, using them as "natural resource" for their own pleasure and gain. "Patricide" and "incest" are the very foundation upon which they build. "Freud noted that patricide and incest are part of man's deepest nature." (Irvin Yalom, The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy) Karl Marx wrote: "To enjoy the present reconciles us to the actual." (Karl Marx, Critique of Hegel's 'Philosophy of Right') In contemporary terms, "If it feels good, just do it." (Herbart Marcuse, Eros and Civilization: A philosophical inquiry into Freud) Abraham Maslow (famous for his hierarchy of "felt needs" and "self-actualization") wrote: "Nakedness is absolutely right. So is the attack on antieroticism, the Christian & Jewish foundations." "I must put as much of this as is possible & usable in my education book, & more & more in succeeding writings." (Abraham Maslow, The Journals of Abraham Maslow) Carl Rogers wrote: "Experience is, for me, the highest authority." "Neither the Bible nor the prophets, neither the revelations of God can take precedence over my own direct experience." (Carl Rogers, on becoming a person: A Therapist View of Psychotherapy)

If you make "human nature," i.e., man's carnal nature, i.e., his "felt needs," i.e., his "lusts," i.e., his love of pleasure and hate of restraint the medium through which to determine right from wrong, good from evil, what else would you expect. It is what Georg Hegel, Karl Marx, and Sigmund Freud (and Immanuel Kant) had in mind. Look at our culture today. It is increasingly intoxicated with, addicted to, and possessed by the love of pleasure (dopamine emancipation without restraint, i.e., "incest") and the hate of restraint ("patricide")—where the child's carnal desire rules over and therefore against the father's/Father's authority. It is the very core of our education system today—with its use of "Bloom's Taxonomies" and the "group grade" in the classroom.

"There are many stories of the conflict and tension that these new practices are producing between parents and children." (David Krathwohl, Benjamin S. Bloom, Taxonomy of Educational Objectives Book 2: Affective Domain)
"The school must make room for the deviant student." "How such persons can be discovered, and, above all, how such persons can be produced in greater number is the major problem for research in character formation." (Robert Havighurst and Hilda Taba, Adolescent Character and Personality) When you make room for "deviancy," i.e. "tolerate deviancy" ("diversity"), "deviancy" becomes the norm.

It all starts with your "self interest," i.e., your desire for the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates, and your dissatisfaction, resentment, hatred toward the father's/Father's authority which gets in the way. The charlatan can not gain control over you, using you for his own pleasure and gain, i.e., "merchandise" you without it. It is how the master psychologist, psychotherapist, facilitator of 'change' gained control over two "children" in the garden in Eden (Genesis 3:1-6) and all of mankind since. By 'creating' a "positive," i.e., "safe place/space/zone" ("you will not die"), i.e., soviet, i.e., brainwashing, i.e., dialoguing opinions to a consensus environment, he was able to "help" them liberate' their "self" from the "Father's" authority (Hebrews 12:5-11) so they could do wrong, disobey, sin with impunity, i.e., so they could do wrong, disobey, sin without having a guilty conscience (Romans 7:14-25). They both become the first 'liberals,' with Adam throwing the woman "under the bus" and the woman the serpent, refusing to admit that they were wrong and repent, 'justifying' themselves instead, resulting in them dying in their sins. "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 16:25

"And through covetousness [your "self interests"] shall they with feigned words [plastic words, Gr., i.e., doublespeak, i.e., saying one thing while meaning another, i.e., giving you what you want to hear (control over your own life) in order to gain their trust thereby being able to move you down their pathway (gain control over you)] make merchandise of you [turn you into "human resource" to be used for their own pleasure and gain—turning the children against their parent's authority, the citizens, including the "church," against Godly restraint so they can be bought and sold in the market place of man's carnal desires]." 2 Peter 2:3.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:5-7
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8, 9
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." John 5:30
"It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me [doing the Father's will]." Luke 9:23
"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
