It Is All About Perception.

"Building relationship on self interest," i.e., on what "seems to" be, is like looking for gold with a "friend," you had better watch your back after finding it because your "friend" might think (it might "seem to" him) he has better use of it (your part of the gold) than you do. When "self interest" guides your perception, you are deceived into believing you are the center of the universe, deciding right from wrong based upon your carnal desire of the 'moment,' when it is the one in control of your perception, i.e., in control of what "seems to" be who controls you.
