Children of Disobedience

by
Dean Gotcher

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others." Ephesians 2:2,3 Regarding "the course of this world" see Hegel's Formula.

"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them." Ephesians 5:5-7  "Vain words" are "self" 'justifying' words, i.e., words which you want to hear that 'justify' your carnal desires of the 'moment,' i.e., words which make you "feel 'good,'" 'justifying' your "lusts," which includes the affirmation of men, thereby 'justifying' your resentment toward restraint, i.e., hatred toward the restrainer, i.e., God.

"For this cause [because men 'justified' their "self" before one another, rejecting God's authority] God gave them up unto vile affections [let them have what they wanted, dying in their sins]:" Romans 1:21, 25 "And for this cause [because men, as "children of disobedience," 'justify' themselves, i.e., their love of "self" and the world, i.e., their love of the pleasures of the 'moment' over and therefore against the Father's authority] God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie [that pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the Father's will]: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth [in the Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ], but had pleasure in unrighteousness [in their "self" and the pleasures of the 'moment,' which the world stimulates]." 2 Thessalonians 2:11, 12

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain ["of and for self"] in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1:21, 22, 28, 32

All facilitator's of 'change' (along with those following after them, submitting to their authority) are "children of disobedience," creating a "new" world order which the Lord will return and bring to an end, his holy angels casting them and all who follow them into "the lake of fire which is never quenched."

"Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment." Ecclesiastes 11:9
